Sex Therapy
Sexual health is considered a state of physical, emotional, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality. Just thinking about that definition it is no wonder we may struggle with many things related to sex, sexuality and sexual health. Compromising any one of those categories by themselves can lead to issues with our sexual functioning. Unfortunately there are many times where any or all can combine, leading to some general concerns with how we function sexually. It may impact our self-esteem, quality of life, relationships and so many areas we may not even realize. It can be something life-long or something we are recently struggling with. As one who enjoys practicing sex therapy I really want all of my clients to have a healthy, enjoyable and fulfilling sex life. The aforementioned can impede that. Various factors such as relationships, stress, anxiety or trauma may contribute. I can help. In therapy we will likely start by taking an overall sexual history. We will explore and identify the likely root causes (past and/or present). We can start implementing strategies that may improve the overall quality of your sexual functioning, health and experiences. Sex therapy is not exclusive to any particular person, identity or couple. I invite couples as much as possible. Among everything in this field sexual health is my primary and most passionate area of focus. Everyone deserves and has a right to live a sexually healthy life and I want to be a part of it! I look forward to seeing how I may be able to help you.
