Life can be quite difficult especially in modern times. In past generations things seemed to be more laid out for us. In the 40's/50's messages seemed to be you find that person and marry them. Next up was the happy family with the dog behind that picket fence. Now think about yourself having to navigate the present world where there is so much movement. With so many different pressures in our society from so many different places it can be difficult to focus on yourself much less a relationship and making it a "good" relationship. Sometimes we may struggle as an individual or as a couple. Sometimes we may be doing well and want to grow. Sometimes situations or outside factors may interrupt the relationship. Do you find yourself/selves struggling or wanting to work on things related to your relationship? Relationship therapy is not solely for relationships that struggle. It can certainly be used to enhance relationships or build them up as well. Whether it's planning for your future or even planning your end. Maybe you're going through a divorce/break up or just considering it. Perhaps there was some infidelity and you are trying to figure out what to do (which may include steps one can take following infidelity). Or maybe it is family planning, life transitions, family interruptions or just wanting to improve your communication. I can help. Aside from having professional experience in working with this I also bring a good amount of life experience. I am very open minded to all relationships and love working with relationships. In therapy we will explore what it is you (all) want to work on and determine ways to insure we take care of ourselves as we look at ways to accomplish our goals. I look forward to seeing how I may be able to help.
